Sorry for the downtime, there was an unexpected error with the Winters Chill Tome that I made. It seems when I put the story Chilly wrote on it, it was too long and the code did not like it. I guess I have to put the story on the website or forums now since stuff like that is too long for the silly code.

Celebrating the Holidays!12.19.09
Until the New Year, DBE will be celebrating the holidays with helping others and being a better person in general. While you are out leveling and questing, take the time to help anyone who may have a question or needs some guidance in the MUD. If your deeds are noticed, you could be rewarded with an Essence of Winter. You can give these essences to any Postmaster and you will receive a random present. Earning more than one essence is encouraged, but please do not be greedy. Not every good deed will be awarded with an Essence of Winter, but who knows when someone may be watching. There will also be a couple essences scattered around the universe for those who like to explore. I hope everyone enjoys this event and continues to help others on DBE after the New Year.

R.I.P. Memnoc09.30.09
This morning or earlier this day Memnoc died, it is rumored a blood clot or something similar was the cause. He was known as one of the most addicted and dedicated players on DBE. Almost everyone knew who he was or was a good friend with him. He will be missed on DBE and to keep his memory going, a NPC or quest will be made in memory of him. Good bye demon of the underworld, shall you cause chaos where ever you may end up in the afterlife.

Tiepos got rid of the old buggy forums and gave us a new forum that can be easily updated with future patches. Some of the old guides were reposted but not all, so make sure you repost anything you think may have been lost. Also, do not spam the forums with pointless posts just to get the silly rewards. If people start to spam, the rewards will be removed.

Reopening Tonight!05.04.09
As the title states, DBE is reopening at 8 pm eastern. This time is not exact though, so do not freak out if it takes a little longer to open. We will be coding in the last of our changes in these next couple hours. Considering how this was all unexpected, please bare with us if there is any bugs from the new code that was added in. We did not have our usual 20+ players on to test everything that was coded in. So if you find any bugs, please report them ASAP. Well we hope to see you all on tonight leveling, questing and PKing. Let the blood splatter in the name of Dragonball!

An update on the situation05.01.09
Currently us immortals have been busy working on some changes involving the code and zones. You will see new PL and KI gains, a new transformation and a couple revamped zones when we reopen DBE. Do not expect any major changes or a whole new MUD. This pwipe was very unexpected, so we are getting in as much as possible in a short time. We expect to have DBE up and ready by Monday.

Downtime and Pwipe04.28.09
Yup, you read correctly, a pwipe will be needed to fix a major bug involving the player stats. We have not pwiped in over 6 years, so this is not too bad. If anything it is a perfect chance for you to become the strongest player and to try out a new race. We are not sure how long this downtime will be but we are working as fast as we can to ensure all of you can restart ASAP. Some good news is that all customs will be reimbed and all RP names will be given back to the original owners. Also keep in mind that there will be some changes to the core code of the MUD, so expect to see some different stuff. As you all know, we hate pwipes but we have no choice.

New Dragonball Movie?!12.14.08
Strangely enough, the new Dragonball movie title is "Dragonball Evolution" not to be mistaken with this MUD. I'm assuming this website is going to get a lot of extra hits from people looking for the movie. If you're one of those people, this MUD website has nothing to do with the movie. Yea...I know it's been a while since any news has been posted on the website. Even though there haven't been any recent news posts on the website, DBE has still been expanding. We recently added in a Newbie Training Academy for all new players. Hopefully this will help everyone learn the MUD better and stick around longer. Also if you're curious about any updates on the MUD, check HELP MUPDATE on the MUD.

Shields have been upgraded to actually block attacks and cause you to miss sometimes. Dragonballs can now load on any MOB above level 3,000. Loot Index Added!05.13.07
Well now you guys will be able to see all the possible known loot items in the \"Loot Index\". You\'ll be able to see which planet the item drops on and the stats. The \"Other\" category has all the items dropped in the Afterlife(Heaven, Hell), Majinia, Space and anywhere else that isn\'t on one of the main 7 planets. So enjoy the new index and I hope this helps you guys.

New Boss MOBs!10.17.06
I'm not sure if you people have noticed, but a lot of mini boss MOBs have been added around the MUD. They were added to give those zones more of a challenge. These boss MOBs also have a chance to drop pretty good equipment for their level. So group together and kill these MOBs...or be killed by them.

Today is the 4th year Dragonball Evolution has been open. It is also my birthday, so enjoy the Double Exp until late tonight. DBE is the longest running DBZ MUD online and will always be.

Ok. To be honest, i haven't gotten around to doing much on the website. But, the reason for my post is the downtime. The DBE webhost fucked up again, one time too many, so i decided to change webhosts. That was our reason for the site being down all of today, I've been busy transferring everything over. So everything should be working, site and forums.

If you\'ve been looking at the site you might have noticed that the latest few news posts have dissappeared. thats because i was working on something (Still am actually) and the code removed the posts instead of updating them! But problem solved and i\'m still working on the site. Trying to get the back end coding done, most of which you wont see. I have updated all of the races and skills information.
